Xbox 360 Geeks Needed AGAIN*( 50hz vs 60 hz )* HELP?
In relation to a question I previously asked, Iv just noticed that the spec of my sons TV specifies only 50hz although HD ready.. Can I still received HD through the Xbox using HD TV lead supplied with the console (old classic) or do i need a HDMI lead ?? Also will the fact that it cant display 60hz stop him playing some games that require 60hz or is that irrelevant using a HDMI cable.. thanks

Yes you can display a 1080i picture GUARANTEED with that TV, and since your using a component cable, (which the TV has sockets for!) you could probably get a 1080p signal, it all depends when you try it out!
60hz is an americanized term for the picture Frequency they use over there (NTSC) , it’s possibly irrelevant in most cases as we’re in Europe and use 50hz (PAL)
You will NOT need to buy an HDMI cable for the original Xbox 360, the Component cable you have will work perfectly well
