HDTV with MPEG-4 – 8 Mbps
As you can see from the chart, HDTV does require significantly more bandwidth than standard TV. Therefor, make sure you have a good Internet connection to stream video to your laptop or PC. Most Internet carriers now-a-days do provide sufficient bandwidth to meet these needs.
Tip #2 – Don’t Pay to Watch TV Movies Online, Most are Free!
Make sure you find a reputable site that offers the ability to watch TV and movie channels for free. There are literally thousands of online TV channels, movies online, music and local TV and international channels being streamed daily over the Internet. Check around, some vendors will make you pay for services that you can find for free elsewhere.
Tip #3 – Use the Right Software to Watch TV Movies Online
Having the proper software loaded onto your laptop or PC, will make all the difference between an enjoyable viewing experience, and a bad one. The software that you’ll need to enjoy your online channels is a collection of thousands and thousands of available TV, movie, music, sports and worldwide local channels that are made available to you.
Normally, there is a small one-time fee for the software. Most do NOT require monthly subsciptions. Be aware if you find one that charges these since you can probably find another product that only requires you to pay once! There are a few products on the market, but one that I have found, which only charges a small one-time fee for the software, works great.
