i know its none of my business but my friend seems to be parenting her 2yr. wrong? Is she or am i clueless?
her son is 2 and a half…she doesnt work or go to school so shes home ALL day and she has no car…he goes to bed at like 2 or 3am…sleeps till after noon..has no schedule whatsoever..just eats when he wants..she always complaining how he is always bad but i think its b/c hes bored all day…shes on facebook 5 hours a day..never talks about things or activities they do together so i assume they dont do any…he knows every commercial on TV like he watches it all day…the house is always a mess but she says she doesnt have time to clean or do laundry b/ watching him is so hard…their laundry was piled up like to my waist…i dont have kids so i would never sayanything to her but just wondering other parents thoughts…seems tome she needs to get off her ass and get a job and play w/ her kid and clean instead of being online and watchin tv all day but i dunno
Children need routine and need to be kept occupied especially at that age otherwise they are naughty and play up for attention.
It doesnt sound like a healthy environment for a 2 year old but its not for anyone else to interfere unless the child is in immediate danger.
Perhaps you could offer to sit with the little boy and play some games with him so she can get some of her household chores done and she may take the hint.
